Potomac Heritage Trail

Selection of my pictures from today.  Lots of fun, and a great exercise which reminds me I need to pay closer attention to all of the various camera settings, and the subject as well.

Reflections from a puddle in the middle of a rock.

Looks like an alligator head to me.

Just some leaves, but I liked the darker green behind them.

This and the next photo are a pair, changing the shutter speed to blur the water.

Thank you Mel for pointing out the gills on the mushrooms.  Very interesting looking.

There is something about running water that is hard to pass up.
